About the Charity

"Patterson Park Public Charter School (PPPCS) is a small public charter in Baltimore, Maryland, serving 750 students. One of our most exciting initiatives is the PPPCS Polar Explorers Program, which empowers our middle school students to connect local environmental advocacy in Baltimore with global conservation efforts. Through a year-long curriculum students engage in hands-on STEM learning — culminating in a life-changing expedition to Antarctica aboard the National Geographic Explorer. There, they will collaborate with scientists, conduct research, and document their journey in documentary film premiering at the Maryland Zoo’s Party for the Planet. Your support helps make this transformative experience possible — join us in inspiring the next generation of environmental leaders!"
