Play Live Trivia from Anywhere in the World!

An interactive, real-time trivia experience, complete with emcee and music that allows you to play from the comfort of your own home or on the go. Games have a main room with an engaging host who will explain rules, present the game, and sort teams into private breakout rooms to discuss answers. Return to the main room where captains will submit answers to the host and see how you did! Cheating is not welcome - this is for winners only!

Gather your teammates and register online. You’ll receive the link 30 minutes before the game so you can join the fun on Zoom via your computer or smart device!

How much does it cost?

Only $5 per player!

How many people can play on a team?

There’s no limit!

How do I register to play?

Visit playvirtualtrivia.com, select the game you wish to play from our calendar, and follow the instructions. Please provide an email address for each player attending; for multiple players on the same device, use the device holder’s email for all players.

How does virtual trivia work?

It’s played solo or on a team through Zoom; you’ll receive the Zoom link 30 minutes before the game starts. Once you’ve entered the meeting, change your display name to reflect your team’s name and your host will sort you with your team. During the game, you will move in and out of private Zoom (breakout) rooms, so there’s ample time for trivia and socialization!

I’m having technical difficulties, can you help?

For difficulties during game time, your host may be able to help. However, settings vary depending on the device and operating system, which we have no control over.

Are there prizes?

Unfortunately, there is no way to guarantee that players will not cheat during virtual trivia – we do not offer prizes so that we do not incentivize players to cheat.

I have an issue with a question asked in our game. Who do I contact?

I haven’t gotten my link for the game yet! What do I do?

We send out the link 30 minutes prior to each game. If you don’t have a link within 30 minutes of the game (and you’ve already checked your spam), please contact admin@charmcitytrivia.com *Reminder: if you have unsubscribed from our e-newsletter, you will not be able to receive links!

"One of the true joys of the COVID era has been doing virtual Trivia Night each week with my friends from college. We wind up playing against the same teams and we've won... err... maybe 4 times. Ahh well. It was a real highlight last night to meet our new 4-day-old team member! And what was even nicer was the host announcing it to everyone and having 70 strangers (who, again, beat us every week) cheer over Zoom for our new clutch teammate. Joy abounds for team 'That Girl is Bonkairs'!"

We still play just about every week because it's the best/easiest way for us to always have something on the calendar. The good thing is our winning percentage has definitely gone up since those early days!!

I wanted to take a moment to thank your team at Charm City Trivia for helping us put on such a fabulous event - our Falltoberfest Event held on October 12, 2023 at Nick's Grandstand in Timonium. We've been playing virtual trivia with Kira since 2020, and it's always a blast! Playing virtually means that we can play with family & friends who don't live close by. We even won the January 2022 Virtual Tournament! Virtual trivia is also great for the disabled members of our team because they don't have to worry about missing a game if they're having a tough day or if the venue is too loud.

We might not always get the sports questions, but we're always in for an evening of trivia fun!
